If you or your receptionist take appointments over the phone or from an office, you can enter these appointments in your online schedule and keep your calendar up-to-date. If you have walk-in customers and you're fully booked, use Online Appointment Manager to make a future appointment for them.

Q: Why would I want to use Online Appointment Manager instead of a simple reservation book?

With an online reservation system, you and your staff can see your customers' reservations and appointments even when you're away from the office. Q: What synchronization/export/import features does Online Appointment Manager have?

A: Online Appointment Manager supports synchronization with both Outlook and PDA. Schedule summary and each appointment information can be viewed and printed out in PDF format and exported into Excel or other spreadsheet-processing tool of your choice.

A: Keeping your personal and business information private is vitally important to us. As with all information, Peak Health Web will never rent or sell your personal and/or business information.

Login and Password

Q: If I lose my login information or my password, how do I retrieve this information?

Billing and Payments

Q: Which credit cards are accepted?

A: MasterCard and Visa: Please use the credit card that does not expire in the nearest 3 months.

Q: I want to cancel my service. What should I do?

A: You do not need to contact anyone and spend your time with our customer service. Just go to your Account Setup Page and find the “Terminate Account” button at the bottom center of it. However, you should not have any active appointments in your Online Appointment Manager to successfully terminate your account.

Q: I registered with Online Appointment Manager and got the trial deal. Will you notify me when the trial is up?

A:Yes. We will notify you via email before the trial period is up. At that time, we will require a credit card to continue your service with us.

Q: How do I view my invoices

A: After you register for services and log into Online Appointment Manager, you can view and print a listing of all charges to your credit card.

Q: If I terminate my account will I get a refund?

A: Product and monthly service fees are not refundable.

Medical Scheduling, Privacy, and HIPAA

Q: Is Online Appointment Manager HIPAA-compliant?

A: Online Appointment Manager takes patient, doctor and staff privacy and information security very seriously by enforcing high standards of electronic and physical security. Peak Health Web does not collect, sell, share, disclose or provide customer, appointment and service provider information to any third parties unless required by law.

Many doctors and their office staff are looking for the right HIPAA-compliant services and software that will somehow transform their medical practice into being HIPAA-compliant. The fact is that software tools and software services can not be HIPAA-compliant, simply because software is a tool and not a business practice. It is important to understand that the term "HIPAA Compliance" refers to an organizational obligation and procedural integrity, but not to a technical specification or particular software tool.

HIPAA regulations do not apply to Online Appointment Manager scheduling services since Online Appointment Manager does not perform insurance, payment or related transactions (HIPAA transactions), and does not collect any medical history from patients. Nevertheless, Online Appointment Manager implements multiple features that help with HIAA-related issues, such as timed auto-logouts, protected passwords, strong 128-bit secure SSL encryption, patient registration and login options, just to name a few.
